Our Endodontic Procedures

At Kennedy Endodontics, our experienced root canal specialists and compassionate dental team are dedicated to preserving your natural smile through advanced endodontic care. We offer a comprehensive range of procedures—including root canal therapy, retreatments, and surgical endodontics—designed to treat infection, relieve pain, and restore oral health.

Root Canal Treatment

Endodontic treatment or a root canal is necessary when the pulp (i.e., nerve space inside the tooth) becomes inflamed or infected. If pulp inflammation or infection is left untreated, it can cause pain or lead to an abscess.

Root Canal Retreatment

If your tooth has failed to heal or has developed new problems after the initial root canal treatment, endodontic re-treatment may be able to create a better environment for healing that would allow you to save your tooth.

Endodontic Microsurgery

In a small percentage of cases, non-surgical endodontic treatment alone may not be able to eliminate the persistent infection. In such cases, your dentist or endodontist may recommend endodontic surgery or apicoectomy.

Tooth Bleaching

Discoloration of the front teeth is a cosmetic problem that will often require corrective measures. Although restorative methods such as crowns and veneers are available, discoloration can often be successfully corrected by a conservative procedure called internal bleaching.

Traumatic Dental Injuries

Traumatic dental injuries are the result of sports mishaps, motor vehicle accidents or bad falls. No matter what the cause, the type and severity of the injury will determine the treatment necessary.

Cracked Teeth

Whether your tooth cracks from an injury or general wear and tear, you can experience a variety of symptoms ranging from erratic pain when you chew your food to sudden pain when your tooth is exposed to very hot or cold temperatures.
